Why You Should Order Your Holiday Dinner Instead of Making It From Scratch
The holidays bring a lot of joy, but they also bring a lot of pressure. You want a beautiful table. You want food everyone loves. You want to relax a little. What you do not want is to spend two full days prepping onions, brining turkeys, juggling oven schedules, and hoping the beef tenderloin does not overcook while you greet guests at the door.
This is where Crafted Catering and Events steps in.
Our holiday meal packages are designed for real life. You get restaurant level flavor that feels homemade but without the stress, the mess, or the marathon grocery runs. Everything arrives fully cooked or perfectly seared, packed cold for safety, with a thermometer and simple reheating instructions. You get credit for hosting a great meal. You get your time back.
If you have been debating whether to order holiday dinner this year, here is why it is one of the smartest choices you can make.
1. You save hours before guests even arrive
Holiday cooking is not one recipe. It is a full production.
Shopping, chopping, marinating, roasting, tasting, adjusting, cleaning. It adds up fast. Ordering a full meal package removes most of the work so you can focus on the parts of hosting that actually feel good. Set the table. Wrap a few gifts. Enjoy your people.
Your time is one of the most valuable things you have during the holidays. Protect it.
2. The food comes out perfect every time
Beef tenderloin that is tender and deeply seasoned. Turkey that is never dry. Short ribs with a rich red wine sauce. These are dishes that take time, precision, and the right equipment. Our culinary team handles all of that for you.
Your job becomes simple. Reheat. Serve. Enjoy.
3. You get a complete meal with real value
Every holiday dinner package includes sides, salads, breads, desserts, and sauces. No guessing. No running out for one more thing. No missing components that throw off the entire flow of dinner.
• Scalloped potatoes
• NY maple glazed butternut squash
• Green salad with roasted pears, cranberries, goat cheese, and maple dijon vinaigrette
• Fresh bread with whipped salted butter
• Samascott Orchards apple cobbler
• Raspberry white chocolate cheesecake
• Vanilla bean whipped cream
This is the kind of spread people remember.
4. Hosting becomes enjoyable again
When the heavy lifting is done for you, you get to show up as the relaxed host. You can mingle. You can have that first glass of wine before guests walk in. You can actually sit down and enjoy dinner with your family.
Most people say they want a calmer holiday. Ordering your meal is one of the simplest ways to make that happen.
5. The reheating instructions take the guesswork out of everything
You do not need to worry about cook times, internal temps, or juggling multiple dishes. Everything is labeled clearly with step by step instructions. You also receive a thermometer so you can warm items safely and confidently.
Your kitchen stays cleaner. You stay calmer. You look like you had it all planned.
6. A la carte makes parties and gatherings easy
Hosting a small gathering. Need an extra pan of scalloped potatoes. Want a beautiful local cheese board to welcome guests. The a la carte menu gives you flexibility to fill in the gaps without overbuying.
From shrimp scampi with orzo to charcuterie boards and house made sliders, you can mix and match everything you need to build your perfect holiday menu.
Tips for making your holiday pick up feel seamless
• Clear space in your fridge before pick up.
• Bring a flat surface for transport.
• Read your reheating instructions before the holiday.
• Serve family style for an easy setup.
• Move dessert to room temperature before serving.
• Keep the thermometer in the kitchen drawer for future dinners.
Small steps make your day smooth.
