Meet Our Team

Every event is the result of a team that values care, collaboration, and craft. At Crafted Catering & Events, our people are at the heart of everything we do. From culinary preparation to on-site execution, every member brings skill, creativity, and genuine warmth to the table.

Will | Founder & Chef

Will founded Crafted Catering & Events with a clear belief in great food and genuine hospitality. With over twenty years of culinary experience, he has led kitchens at every level, from serving as Corporate Executive Chef at Mazzone Hospitality to cooking at the James Beard Award-winning Fish & Game in Hudson, New York.

He has catered more than a thousand events across the Hudson Valley, Capital Region, Berkshires, and beyond. His approach is rooted in seasonality, simplicity, and respect, for ingredients, clients, and his team. Every menu is designed to reflect the spirit of the celebration, whether a small gathering or a grand gala.

Will’s leadership is defined by quiet confidence, attention to detail, and a genuine connection with people. When he’s not in the kitchen, he enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with his dog, Junior.

Micayla | Event Manager

Micayla first joined Crafted in 2022 during her summer break from college and returned full-time after graduation. Her versatility makes her indispensable — she can prep, plate, serve, manage logistics, and support the team wherever needed.

She loves meeting new people through her work and thrives in the fast-paced environment of events. When she’s not with the team, Micayla enjoys watching racing at Lebanon Valley Speedway and spending time with friends.

Katie | Sales Director

Katie joined Crafted through a mix of timing and relationships, having worked alongside Will on events over the years. With her son Kaleb already on the team, joining the company felt natural.

As Sales Manager, Katie builds meaningful connections with clients and guides them through each stage of planning. She values the friendships, laughter, and collaboration that define the Crafted culture. When she’s not working, Katie enjoys time with her family and caring for their small farm of ducks, chickens, goats, and dogs. Her ideal day off involves strong coffee, cozy downtime in winter, and outdoor time in the summer.

Alyssa | Bar Manager

Alyssa joined Crafted in 2023 and quickly became an integral part of the team. Originally brought in to help with a wedding, she proved herself to be adaptable, reliable, and endlessly positive. Alyssa now moves seamlessly between roles, from event setup and service to leading the bar program.

She loves the energy of working with people who truly enjoy what they do and believes that the best part of any event is the camaraderie that builds throughout the day. Outside of work, she spends time hiking, dancing, and staying active with friends and family.

Jay | Operations Manager

Jay became part of the Crafted family in 2022, starting in the kitchen and learning every aspect of event production before transitioning to front-of-house leadership. In 2024, he stepped into the role of Operations Manager, overseeing logistics, staffing, and execution.

He finds meaning in authentic connection, both with clients and colleagues, and takes pride in creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and cared for. Outside of work, Jay tends to his impressive collection of plants, enjoys great food, and spends quiet days with his rabbit, Raven.

Mike | Chef De Cuisine

Chef Mike joined Crafted in 2022 in search of a new challenge and the chance to work within a tight-knit culinary team. As Catering Chef, he oversees kitchen preparation, training, and execution, ensuring consistency and quality across every event.

He enjoys the creativity of cooking over open fire and designing menus that reflect both the venue and the season. Mike values teamwork, collaboration, and the satisfaction of delivering memorable experiences. Outside of work, he enjoys baseball and traveling with his wife Ariana and their children, Demetra, Matthew, and Chase.

Tracey | Culinary & Event Specialist

Tracey brings more than 15 years of experience in fine dining and high-end catering. A classically trained chef with a modern eye, she works across culinary, service, and marketing operations at Crafted. Her ability to shift from behind the stove to managing logistics makes her invaluable to both the team and clients.

Her work is shaped by a deep respect for ingredients and sustainability. She grows much of her own produce and manages two greenhouses, ensuring that every dish reflects quality from the ground up. Tracey believes that great events begin with great ingredients and a team that truly loves the work.

Our Commitment to Sustainability & Community

At Crafted, we believe in making a positive impact on our community and the environment. We source local meats, produce, and products whenever possible. We are actively reducing single-use plastics at our events. We give back to support local initiatives, including organizations like the Animal Protective Foundation.

We are proud to be a member of 1% for the Planet, a global network of businesses committed to directing at least one percent of annual revenue to vetted environmental partners. onepercentfortheplanet.org+1

Beyond sourcing and giving, we believe local means more than proximity. It means engagement. We are active members of our county’s chamber of commerce and regularly collaborate with regional venues, farms, rental partners, and nonprofits. Our team shows up—not just for events, but for community days, local fundraisers, and seasonal farm visits.
